Competition Date: April  (tentative)

• Subject matter and medium are open to student choice, but must fall within the contest guidelines.

• The teacher must be a member of the Texas Art Educators Association.

• An entry fee is required. Possibilities to cover competition fees are school budgetary funds made available by the principal, student activity fund, or the campus PTO.

• A complete list of competition rules, paperwork, payment, and editing dates are available through the TAEA/VASE website.

• Requirements: Black or white mate, no minimum size, 24”x36” maximum (including mat), can not extend more the 3” from surface of 2D work, 3D work must stand alone or be attached to a base. Mat may not exceed 3”.
